In addition to directing, he also plays the role of Shahid Mehdi Bakri in this series. In the mini-series “Ashura”, the position of the Ashura Battalion in the war imposed under the command of Shahid Mehdi Bakri is narrated.

According to the plans, this series with the narration of the lives of martyrs Mahdi and Hamid Bakri and a memory of the epic makers of Lashkar 31 Ashura is going to be broadcast weekly on TV during the months of Muharram and Safar.

The movie version of this series titled “Mahdi’s Situation” was screened at the 40th Fajr Film Festival in the Simorgh Souda section and won five awards, including the Crystal Simorgh for the best film of this festival.
