According to Fars news agency, Daud Manzoor, the vice president, in a public meeting with the deputies, managers and heads of affairs of this organization and the heads of management and planning organizations of the provinces, explained his most important views about the country’s economic issues and how to play a more active role and maximum participation of this organization in Economic growth and development.

He said: The country’s program and budget organization is the planning and budgeting arm of the president.

According to him, the President emphasizes the active participation of the Program and Budget Organization in the management of the country’s economic affairs and the revival of the Economic Council.

The head of the Program and Budget Organization stated: In order to fulfill the president’s expectations from the organization and play a more active role in the economic management of the country, changes were made in the structure of the Program and Budget Organization so that this organization can perform its important duties in a more dynamic manner.

He said: “Plan and budget organization should have a serious input in the current issues of the country, including housing, cars, water, fuel and energy sources and similar issues.”

He said that the most urgent agenda is the completion and finalization of the 7th development plan of the country and he said: We should tell the people what we are spending the country’s budget on with numbers and figures and presenting an expert report. In this regard, interaction and dialogue with stakeholders and people’s representatives will increase.

He added: The program and budget organization should be more sensitive to resource allocation and utilize all internal and external resources, including the production of government assets and the resources of non-governmental public institutions, necessary for the realization of the development plan. Playing an active role in the government’s economic decision-making and attending related meetings at the highest level is pursued.
