The sound of Tehran Symphony Orchestra in the first winter performance of Vahdat Hall


According to the Fars Music Reporter, despite the continuation of the events related to the separation of 40 musicians from the Tehran Symphony Orchestra, which has not yet completely happened despite the Minister of Guidance’s order to return them, on the first evening of winter, under the leadership of Manouchehr Sohbai, the instruments of this orchestra will be playing again. After holding 10 performances this fall, the concert of Tehran Symphony Orchestra was staged again in Vahdat Hall with the performance of pieces by famous composers.

The symphony orchestra had previously played a piece for the children of Gaza in its last autumn performance on November 25 and 26.

In this performance, which was conducted by Manouchehr Sohbai and accompanied by Arin Qitassi as an oboe soloist, held at the Unity Hall, the orchestra presented the piece “Air” by Johann Sebastian Bach to the homeless and defenseless children of Gaza, which received a lot of attention.

In its first winter concert, which was held on the evening of Friday, January 1, 1402, under the leadership of the Manouchehr Sohbai Orchestra, the Tehran Symphony Orchestra performed pieces by prominent composers of the romantic era.

To start its winter performances, the symphony orchestra went to pieces by well-known composers and performed the Freischutz Overture by Carl Maria von Weber, Symphony No. 4 in La Major (Italian) by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdi, Arlesine Suite No. 2 and Carmen Suite No. 1 by He chose George Bizet to play.
