He continued: “One of the most important features of tourism in any region is souvenirs.” “Souvenir” has a historical origin and sometimes this concept takes a nostalgic form. For example, in some European countries, cocoa chocolate and in some other countries, a food is considered as the national value of that country as a souvenir.

Jafari, pointing out that the tourism industry can be a way to export the culture of the Islamic Revolution to people in other parts of the world, continued: “Our country, apart from its climate and local culture, in terms of different values ​​can be a good option for tourism . For the first part of this series, it was decided to make a souvenir of “Sohan” in the city of Qom. In this documentary, we examine the history of Sohan as a souvenir of a religious city, and by reviewing the documents and preparing a report on the production space of Sohan in Sohan cooking workshops, we become more familiar with this product. We also make films from the centers that produce Sohan raw materials. In fact, in the first part of this series, we show the different aspects of Sohan production as a cultural product so that the audience knows what Sohan has a background and how it has a culture.

The director of the documentary series “Souvenir”, emphasizing the antiquity of “Sohan” and establishing its position among the pilgrims of the religious city of Qom, said: In the last hundred years that Sohan has been used among travelers and people from different places, the introduction of this original Iranian product can be To help attract tourists and boost the tourism industry in the country, and our goal in this collection is to introduce original products from different parts of the country to support domestic production.
