According to Fars news agency, citing the General Department of Public Relations and International Affairs of the Central Insurance, Majid Meshalachi Firozabadi, the spokesperson of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Central Insurance, who was appointed to this position last year, was dismissed by the decision of Majid Behzadpour, the head of the Central Insurance.
According to this report, Majid Meshalachi mentioned the debt of car manufacturers to insurance companies in his comments yesterday in a group of reporters and said that car manufacturers took money from people for third party insurance policies and did not pay to insurance companies.
Following these statements, Majid Behzadpour, the head of the Central Insurance last night, while denying what the insurance industry spokesperson said about the issues related to the Minister of Silence, told Fars: the debt of automobile manufacturers to the insurance industry is not new and more than 50% of this debt is current. And the rest of the claims of insurance companies can be collected in negotiations with car manufacturers.
