The staged photo of “Khorramshahr” was unveiled / “Khorramshahr” refers to the statements of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution

According to Fars News Agency, the unveiling ceremony of the staged photo of “Khorramshahr” was held on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the glorious liberation of Khorramshahr in the presence of Mohammad Mehdi Dadman, the head of the art department.

This photo, which was recorded in 1982 by Saeed Sadeghi, a prominent photographer of the Holy Defense, was staged by Seyed Ehsan Bagheri.

Ehsan Bagheri, director and producer of the Khorramshahr photo, explained the staged photo: “The Khorramshahr photo is a staged work that was created to protect the 40th anniversary of Khorramshahr based on a famous photo of Saeed Sadeghi at the time of the liberation of Khorramshahr.”

Regarding the naming of this staged photo called Khorramshahr, he said: “The naming of this photo refers to the statements of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution who said that we have many Khorramshahr ahead, so in this work we have tried to reflect today’s society along with Abadani.”

The director of Khorramshahr photo, emphasizing that this photo was reconstructed in Khorramshahr, added: “The people in this picture are from all sections of society, and we have personalities among them in various fields of development and sports.” Nuclear scientists, practical figures, Martyr Hajji, relatives and farmers, workers and all those who were in charge of the conquests of Khorramshahr are present in the image of Khorramshahr.

Regarding the production time of this work, Bagheri said: “The production of this work took a month and a half after production, which we spent a month in Khorramshahr and two weeks in Tehran.” I was not born when Khorramshahr fell, and I was a few months old when it was liberated. Now I am proud that I was able to gather people next to this mosque with a photo.

Then, Fahimeh Ghorban Ali, the daughter of martyr Ghorban Ali, whose father was martyred during the liberation of Khorramshahr and was present in this staged photo, said: When I saw this photo, the days of the conquest of Khorramshahr, which we will never forget, came to life for us.

He pointed to the difficulties of the people of Khorramshahr and added: “The people of Khorramshahr stood firm during the eight years of holy defense and conquest of Khorramshahr, and when we compare this epic with their current situation, we find that they have not achieved their rights.”
