The start of the second phase of the renovation of Ave Saveh Caravanserai in Central Province

According to Aria Heritage Report, quoting the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Central Province, Hossein Mahmoudi stated: Considering that annual funds are allocated for the restoration of this historical building, 24 billion Rials will be spent for this operation this year.

The Deputy Director of Cultural Heritage, General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of the Central Province added: The restoration of the chambers, arches and the royal part in the northern part of this building, which was destroyed, has been completed, and the restoration of the vault and porch in the western part has started.

Stating that the restoration workshop of this building is now equipped, he clarified: After the completion of the second phase, if the credit is allocated, the restoration of other parts will be done.

Deputy Director of Cultural Heritage, General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of the Central Province of Ave Saveh Caravanserai has a symmetrical plan with four porches, i.e. the classic form of a caravanserai, and consists of different parts of the central courtyard, entrance, porch, chamber and camel house.

This historical work is related to the Safavid period, which was registered as number 3489 on March 25, 1379 in the list of national works of Iran.
