According to Moj news agency, Kobri Rafiei, an expert of the Meteorological Organization, explained the country’s weather situation for today, December 8, and said: “Today we will have rains in Gilan province and east of Ardabil, and from this afternoon, with the arrival of a rain system in the country, in the western and northwestern cities as well.” Scattered showers with rain are expected.
An expert of the Meteorological Organization announced that today in big cities like Tehran, Alborz, Arak and Isfahan, we will have an increase in the concentration of pollutants and added: On Wednesday, the rains will continue in Gilan province and west of Mazandaran, and tomorrow this system will continue in the northwest and The west of the country will be strengthened.
Emphasizing that an increase in the concentration of pollutants in large and densely populated cities is expected tomorrow, Rafiei clarified: since Thursday, a decrease in rainfall is expected in the west and northwest, and the continuation of these rains will gradually continue towards the east and northeast of the country.
Warning that the waters of the Caspian Sea will be rough in the next three days, he added: On Friday, Ardabil and Caspian coasts, as well as East Azerbaijan, North Khorasan and Razavi North Khorasan will benefit from these rains.
He stated that on Wednesday and Thursday, we will see a decrease in temperature in the northwest, west and coasts of the Caspian Sea.
An expert of the Meteorological Organization predicted the capital’s weather today to be partly cloudy with local dust and said: From late tomorrow, we will see scattered rain in Tehran province.
Rafiei pointed out: The maximum temperature of the capital is 17 degrees above zero and the minimum temperature is 7 degrees above zero.
Referring to the coldest place in the country in the past 24 hours, he said: Khairabad, Zanjan province recorded a temperature of 8 degrees below zero today.
