The success of the country’s tourism industry depends on the development of private sector activities

Ali Asghar Shalbafian, Public Relations Officer of the General Directorate of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khorasan Razavi, was quoted by Aria Heritage as saying at a conference of Iranian and Iraqi tourism industry activists held at the Pardisan Hotel in Mashhad on Thursday night: “These meetings, which started in the provinces of Kurdistan, Kermanshah and Khuzestan, were initiated, supported and planned by the private sector and supported by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage.”
“This confirms that if we are serious and prepare the space for the private sector, the private sector will do its job well,” continued the Deputy Minister of Tourism of the Ministry of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts.
Also, Seyed Javad Mousavi, Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khorasan Razavi, referring to the role of the conference of Iranian and Iraqi tourism industry activists in Mashhad, said: “Tourism strengthens friendly relations between Iran and Iraq.”
“I hope in this event we can have a positive impact on the strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries,” he continued.
The conference of Iranian and Iraqi tourism industry activists has started at the Pardisan Hotel in Mashhad on the 3rd of Azar and will last for three days.
