The success of two Iranian films in India

Charso Press: The films “For Ava” produced by Frank Fruten and directed by Mohsen Saraji and “Nargsi” produced by Shahab Hosseini and directed by Payam Eskandari, representing our country, received the main awards in the international section of this film event.

In this film event, several films from America, France, Bangladesh, India, Egypt, Argentina, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Turkey and Iran were presented to the audience.
International festival “Shimla” is one of the film events that is held every year in the city of Shimla, India.

This festival, focusing on issues related to youth and teenagers, hosts the works of participants from different countries in four sections: domestic feature film, domestic short film, international feature film and international short film.

In recent years, the works of a number of Iranian cinematographers have participated in this international event and won awards.

The 9th Shimla International Film Festival was held in India from September 22 to 24 (September 31 to October 2).
