According to Fars news agency, the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution discussed the policies and regulations of the field of universal audio and video in the Tuesday evening meeting chaired by Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, and the single article “Determining the requirements for organizing the field of universal audio and video” approved

Based on this single article, the scope of powers and duties of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Organization in this area were determined and for the private sector activists, especially in the universal audio and video broadcasting platforms and the home television network, it was determined in which sectors they should They should obtain permission from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and in what other departments from the Broadcasting Organization.

Also, another clause of these requirements, which specifies the principles and policies of the production and broadcasting of surround sound and video and the home television network in a more precise way, was approved.

In this meeting, it was decided that in the field of policies and regulations for the production and broadcasting of surround sound and video and home television network, the necessary regulations to organize this field with regard to the policies and principles determined by the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution, by the relevant officials in the form of a bill and be sent to the Islamic Council for approval as a law.

According to today’s resolution of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, the responsibility of monitoring in the field of universal audio and video platforms and home television networks is under the responsibility of the Broadcasting Organization.

Based on this, Dr. Majid Shah Hosseini was introduced as the president and 10 intellectuals and top artistic personalities were also introduced as members of this academy.
