The Taliban operated a US drone

The Taliban said the group had operated on an American Eagle-scanning drone that had previously been destroyed by the Americans, the Fars news agency reported.

Boeing’s Eagle scanning drone is capable of flying for up to 20 hours and is equipped with state-of-the-art electro-optical cameras.

Meanwhile, the American newspaper “Foreign Policy” wrote in a report that the American forces completely and partially destroyed a lot of equipment, including planes, helicopters, and armored vehicles, before leaving Afghanistan.

According to the report, 80 planes and helicopters and a large number of Afghan army armored vehicles were destroyed by US forces.

Earlier, the Pentagon reported that some US media outlets had left 7 billion pieces of military equipment in Afghanistan.

“The United States has left 23,825 armored vehicles and 900 personnel carriers in Afghanistan, and this equipment is now in the hands of the Taliban,” Foreign Policy wrote.

The Pentagon, meanwhile, has said the Taliban do not appear to be able to use the remaining equipment due to specialized maintenance and the need for special equipment.

Earlier, the Taliban announced that they were repairing the destroyed planes at Kabul airport and that most of these planes would be returned to the army.
