Everyone wanted to win the championship so that the trophy stays in Iran, but we did not play well.
He added: The performance of the national team in the finals of the Asian Championship was even weaker than the League of Nations. The players were not good at all in factors such as defense, service, attack, etc. The level of the Asian Championship was very low and more was expected from the national team.
The former passer of the national volleyball team stated: In the final game, the players performed very poorly in serving, receiving, attacking and defending. Holding this game in Urmia put a lot of pressure on Iranian players. The technical staff was not focused enough to manage the team, I think it would have been easier for Japan to play the final in Urmia.
Hosseini said: The players and technical staff should not have been under such pressure. Many factors went hand in hand so that the head coach did not reach the main composition of the team. Atai must answer many questions. A working group should be formed in the federation and the reasons for the failure of the national team in the Asian Championship should be investigated.
