According to the theater reporter of Fars news agency, the puppet party is being held on the stage of the theater for two days, a party of puppets that have been associated with Iranian theatrical culture for years.

Now the 19th edition of this festival is being held, under the direction of Hadi Hijazi Far, a person who is perhaps the most well-known puppet artist in cinema and theater, an artist who in 1987 in the 12th edition of this festival under the direction of Rahmatullah Mehrabi with a show “Romeo and Juliet” was present and today, under different circumstances and in its most well-known form, it is in charge of the 19th period.

Golnaz Akbari, director of Puppet Theater, said regarding the works of this period: “Unfortunately, in the professional world of theater, puppet shows are not very well established and this type of show is accompanied by challenges for people with disabilities at the beginning of their work. Therefore, we have tried to have a simple design based on the simple form of the story so that the actors can coordinate their mental imagination with their body. In my opinion, repetition and patience is very important in all people, especially this class of people with disabilities, and it brings them to their destination, and in this situation, this kind of show is more attractive for them than other types of theater; I believe that these people, like others, should experience all mediums. On the third day of the 19th International Puppet Show Festival (Saturday, July 10th), five shows will be performed in the stage section and five works will be performed in the outdoor section.

*Iranian stage shows

“Kuran” written by Morris Metterling and directed by Vahid Nafar from Tehran will be performed for 25 minutes at 18:00 and 20:00 at Sayeh Chaharsu Hall.

“Qase Bakht” written by Davud Fath Ali Beigi and co-directed by Abolfazl Mirokili and Mohammad Hassan Aboui from Mehriz Yazd, will be staged in two sessions of 17 and 19 with a duration of 40 minutes.

“Descent” written and directed by Majid Beshkal from Bandar Abbas will be performed for 50 minutes at 18:00 and 20:00 in the large hall of Molvi Hall.

“Cheche Chalchele Chehlgis” written by Amir Behbodenia and directed by Nasim Shirzadi from Shiraz will host the interested people for 60 minutes at Golestan Hall of the Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Adolescents at 18:00 and 20:00.

“Male Cat and Insidious Fox” written and directed by Oshan Mahmoudi from Tehran will be performed for 75 minutes at 19:30 in the main hall of Shahr Theater Complex.

* Outdoor shows

In the outdoor shows section of the 19th Tehran-Mubarak International Puppet Show Festival, five shows of “Bargah Salim Khan” written and directed by Zahra Amini Alawijah from Tehran at 18:30, “Giant Robots” show written and directed by Hamed Zarean from Tehran at 19, “Boslame, the Giant of the Seas” written by Sharare Tayar and directed by Fatemeh Bahraini from Abadan at 7:30 p.m., the show “Shilo” written and directed by Faramarz Gholamian from Shahinshahr at 8 p.m. and the show “Azerbaijan” written and directed by Ayan Leri Akbar Zabeh from Marand will host the fans at 20:30 in the area of ​​Shahr Theater Complex.

The 19th International Festival of Tehran-Mubarak Puppet Show, directed by Hadi Hejazifar, is being held from the 8th to the 17th of July.
