The third ship carrying 35,000 tons of rice docked in Shahid Rajaei port


According to Fars News Agency, quoting the public relations of the General Administration of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Hormozgan, Mansour Khorramshkouh announced the mooring of a bulk carrier carrying 35,000 tons of rice imported from Thailand in Shahid Rajaei port: Due to the end of the year and the need for storage Production and supply of rice needed by the people on the night of Nowruz 1401, the evacuation of this basic commodity has begun to be sent to the whole country as soon as possible.

He said the unloading of the Thai rice ship would be completed in seven days and that the basic goods would be shipped across the country after customs formalities.

Deputy Minister of Ports and Economic Affairs of Hormozgan Ports and Maritime Administration, referring to the 92% increase in imports of basic goods in Shahid Rajaei port through 66 ships during the 11 months of this year, said: During the mentioned period, 62,948 tons of rice entered this port and It has been sent to the destination provinces by rail and road.

According to Khorramshkouh, two ships carrying 139,000 tons of wheat and barley are currently in the documentation process at the port of Bandar Abbas for mooring at the ports of Shahid Rajaei.

Shahid Rajaei Port Complex of Bandar Abbas is the largest port complex in the country and in terms of basic goods, it is considered as the second source of entry of this type of goods after Imam Khomeini Port.
