According to Fars News Agency, quoting ShanaToday (Wednesday, June 4), Oil Minister Javad Oji met with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak and his High Representative to welcome Novak’s appointment as Chairman of the Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

He added: “Iran and Russia had good agreements and agreements in the fields of energy, agriculture, transportation and other fields during last year’s visit (1400) and today we will follow those agreements to be fully prepared for the main meeting of the joint commission of the two countries.”

Oji emphasized: The effort of the Islamic Republic and the 13th People’s Government is to develop trade relations with Russia with the cooperation of the public and private sectors of the two countries.
