The three-day coronation ceremony of the King of England

According to Fars International News Agency, Buckingham Palace announced on Saturday the details of the coronation ceremony of King Charles III of England, according to which a three-day ceremony will be held throughout the country, and ordinary people can also attend it on the third day.
According to the CNN report, this ceremony will begin on Saturday, May 6, which will include a “crowning lunch” and a “crowning concert” and the third day will be held publicly by volunteer groups in each city.
This three-day ceremony is held while criticisms about the lavishness of royal ceremonies in England have increased over the past years.
Holding the wedding ceremony of the Queen’s granddaughter in 2017 with a cost of 32 million pounds was one of the most expensive of these ceremonies, at a time when the British government had adopted the policy of economic austerity.
According to experts, the coronation of Charles III will be very different from the coronation of the former Queen of England. The coronation ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II lasted only three hours and was shown live to the public.
CNN added: This is while some anti-royalty groups who are against holding such celebrations have announced that they will hold a protest rally in front of Westminster Church at the same time as the ceremony is held.
Graham Smith, a spokesman for the Republic Group, which opposes the monarchy, said in a statement: “The coronation is a celebration of hereditary power and privilege, it has no place in modern society.”
