The CEO of Iran Khodro, in the ceremony of introducing the company’s latest product at Nima’s house in Yosh village of Noor city, noted that Rera is a new car that will be produced and marketed by Iran Khodro. This crossover car will be built and developed based on the “IKP1” platform of Peugeot-Citroen.
Khatibi went on to say: “Rira” car will be released in the market with two different engines; The first engine that will be used in this car is a 1.6-liter (TU5) engine that can produce 113 horsepower and 144 Nm of torque. In this car, two models of manual and automatic gearboxes will be used.
He noted: Another engine used in Raya’s car is EF7 engine. This engine will be used in the full-option models of the Raya car. The engine (EF7) which is also called TCVplus has a volume of 1645 cc. This engine can produce 168 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 245 Nm of torque at 1,600 to 4,500 rpm.
