Mojtaba Ab Roshan told IRNA: “According to the available information, the tomb of Pir Qutbuddin was built in 1259 with the help of the people and the efforts of Mirza Mojtahed Astaraei. A black tombstone can be seen in the shoe rack and it also has an inscription which, unfortunately, its writings are illegible due to wear and tear.

According to him, this brick tomb was built with a length of more than 11 and a width of 6 meters and a gable roof covered with pottery, and inside it, there is a white marble with a length of 122 and a width of 30 and a diameter of 16 centimeters. Also, in the past, part of this marble was transferred to the History Museum of Rasht.

The head of the Astara Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department said: “Next to the entrance of the tomb, a large hollow black stone can be seen as a tombstone and beautiful carvings are carved on its four sides.”

According to him, the red brick and the dimensions of the materials of this tomb are similar to the materials of the tombs of Baba Hassan and Pir Mohammad Doust of Astara. The Gate of Modernism ”by Pir Qutbuddin was written by the deceased mystics in the year 900 AH.
