According to Mehr News Agency, the fights of the first four weights of the 2021 World Freestyle Wrestling Championship ended in Oslo, Norway, while two gold medals in the weights of 86 and 125 kg went to Hassan Yazdani and Amir Hossein Zare.

At this stage, he passed the barrier of Olympic and world bronze medalist Arthur Nayfonov with a result of 8: 2 and reached the final match. He defeated Olympic and world champion David Taylor of the United States 6-2 in the final, breaking the spell of the wrestler’s losses and winning the gold medal.

In the 125 kg weight category, Amir Hossein Zare, after a break in the first round, defeated Dezanis Kharamiankov of Belarus 6-0 in the second round and advanced to the quarterfinals. At this stage, with a result of 10 to 0, he defeated the world bronze medalist Nikolas Goyazdovsky from the United States and reached the semi-finals. At this stage, he crossed the barrier of Olympic and world champion Taha Akgul from Turkey with a result of 4: 0 and reached the final match. In this match, Zare defeated Gnu Petriashvili, the holder of world gold and Olympic silver medals from Georgia, in a calculated result with a result of 9: 2, and after 32 years and after the living memory of Alireza Soleimani, Iran won the gold medal for the second time.
