The two components of characterization and story are the difference between classic and modern works

Javad Porzand considered the performance of Iranian classical works to be a risk for today’s hasty conditions, and at the same time called its performance necessary.
Charso Press: According to the public relations of Sangalj Theater, theater and cinema actor Javad Porzand, in a short conversation after seeing the show “Night on the Wet Pavement”, said: In a time when everything happens in a hurry, working with texts Classics, especially the works of master Radi’s plays, are a big risk.
He continued by appreciating the actors involved in this play: I should not be tired to say to the actors of this work, especially professor Mikael Shahrashtani, who accepted this risk and worked with their students on a classical Iranian play. This is very valuable.
Porzand, expressing his hope that other theater professors will also choose classic texts for production, said: Classical texts have special theatrical capabilities that cannot be seen in many of our modern and contemporary works. The importance of characterization and the importance of story is the difference between classic and modern texts.
And he emphasized: In my opinion, in these days when we have distanced ourselves from our classical culture, the texts of Radi, Baizai and other great writers of our country should be used much more.
It should be mentioned that in the past few days, Sangalj Theater hosted a group of well-known theater, cinema, radio and television artists of our country who watched two shows “Night on Wet Pavement” and “Curtain in Curtain”.
Jalil Farjad, Gurban Najafi, Rahim Nurzai, Majid Qanad, Behzad Seddiqi, Mehdi Ibaadi, Fereydoun Mehrabi, Jhaleh Mohammad Ali, Shamsi Sadeghi, Nazanin Mohini and… were among the artists who watched these two shows.
