Tabrizi: Why didn’t they say it from the beginning?!

That year, Kamal Tabrizi, the director of the “Sarzmin Kohn” series, recounted the bitter events that happened to the series and said: “Our script was approved by the Broadcasting Organization, and based on the approved script, we started filming, and we started filming in two phases.” It ended, but it was in the middle of the filming of the second phase that the members of the plan and program council of the organization changed and their views also changed. At that time, it was suggested that the script should be revised.

According to him, these reforms were not minor but serious and detailed; That is, some points should have been added to the text and phase one and two should have been corrected.

Tabrizi said: The reforms that have been introduced to our series are reforms that we would have done if they had told us from the beginning. The problem is that we had to do it half way through. In addition, the changes are not to change the structure, but the tendency is to add points in the history that if we knew from the beginning, the author would have done this, but because it is the middle of the work, it becomes a little difficult.

Darabi came into action

Until now, the fate of Tabrizi’s A special series was still unknown until Ali Darabi, the deputy of Sima at the time, stated that the first and second phases of this series have been filmed. In response to these protests, Kamal Tabrizi reacted by publishing a note and paid tribute to the role of all the country’s ethnic groups in the revolutionary struggles; In a part of this note, it was stated that “the main hero of the series, who plays an important and effective role in the Khordad movement and accompanies the clergy and the imam, is from the Bakhtiari family, and judging the positive and negative characters of this series requires more patience.”

Zarghami’s warning letter and hope for broadcasting

Following the submission of an explanatory report by the director, producer, director of the film and series group of the Three Sima channel and the supervisors of the TV series “Sarzmin Kohn” to the vice president of the Sima about some ambiguities that have arisen in the field of this series, Ezzatullah Zarghami addressed some remarks to Ali Darabi, the then vice president in a letter. Sima announced. This letter by Zarghami, but had the flavor of reform and was looking for ways to continue broadcasting this collection.

But these solutions were not enough to satisfy the protestors, and for this reason, a delegation was sent by order of Zarghami to talk with Friday imams and elites of the provinces where the Bakhtiari people live. According to Sohrabi, General Director of Public Relations at the time, the continuation of this series depended on the results of the investigation and the full implementation of the orders of the head of the organization.

Finally, at the end of February, in the meeting of the representatives of the constituencies whose population is Bakhtiari people with Zarghami, it was officially decided to stop the broadcast of the “Old Land” series until some reforms are carried out.

But despite the many meetings that took place in three years (since 1993) with elites, cultural figures and representatives of the Bakhtiari tribe, still this series was not aired on the air at the specified time.

The story was that a number of representatives of the Bakhtiari areas had a meeting with the then vice president of Sema and the deputy head of the Broadcasting Organization and raised their concerns regarding the need to preserve national unity and respect for all ethnic groups. Thus, it was decided to stop re-broadcasting the old land series, and from that year onward, TV did not attempt to broadcast this work, or at least there was no news about it in the media. Only from time to time the media brings up a conversation about the ancient land and the heads of the broadcasting organization also give answers, but in fact, a historical series that was made with a significant budget and labored for it, is still in abeyance.
