The United Nations has welcomed the reopening of girls’ schools in Afghanistan

According to Fars News Agency’s Afghanistan website, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres welcomed the Taliban’s plan to reopen girls’ schools in Afghanistan next year.

The Ministry of Education announced the reopening of girls’ schools in Afghanistan a few days ago and asked them to attend schools to learn their lessons.

Ministry spokesman Aziz Ahmad Ryan told the media that all schools would be open to girls and boys, but that the start would be accompanied by a separation of boys and girls.

In less than a month, the Taliban have begun to open the gates of universities with very serious changes and conditions for girls to wear the hijab and study in separate classes.

According to the Afghan Ministry of Higher Education, each semester consists of four months of continuous teaching, but the Taliban complete the semester within one month.
