Abolfazl Amoui, in an interview with IRNA political correspondent on Monday about the nuclear talks, said: “Iran emphasizes two principles in the talks. First, the other side must commit not to repeat illegal actions such as withdrawing from the UN Security Council and returning sanctions. Also, to compensate for the damage done to the Iranian people. This illegal action has harmed the economy and the people of Iran, and the people are pursuing this issue.

A member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the 11th parliament called the main challenge of the Vienna talks its failure and said: “Maintaining sanctions contradicts the goal of the agreement, which is to benefit the Iranian economy.” Therefore, any agreement must be aimed at benefiting the Iranian people from foreign economic relations, and this goal can only be achieved through the lifting of sanctions.

Regarding the US absence from the talks, Amoui said: “The US has illegally withdrawn from the agreement and when one side leaves the negotiating table, it cannot return without the consent of the other parties.” This is the ransom they pay as the wrongdoer.

Regarding the return of the United States to the negotiations, he continued: “The return of the United States to the negotiating table without payment and compensation for damages is not acceptable, and they must satisfy the negotiating parties to return to the P5 + 1 by fulfilling their obligations.”

The member of the 11th parliament called getting a guarantee one of the main issues of the negotiations and said: “The first point is that the American side must admit that it has gone the wrong way and in this context, it is asked to guarantee that it will not repeat this wrongdoing.” Thus, the European side, as well as Russia and China, acknowledge the rationality of Iran’s demand and accept that Iran has a right to demand.
