The unveiling of Sadegh Tabrizi’s book; A reference for the future

According to Fars News Agency’s visual reporter, Mehrdad Fallah (representative of the Tabrizi family), Maziar Mosurrahmani (publisher of the book of Ostad Tabrizi) and Shahin Turkman (curator of the exhibition) were present at the unveiling of the art book of Ostad Sadegh Tabrizi, along with journalists and media activists. They provided explanations about how to choose, collect and publish this art book.

At the beginning of this meeting, Maziar Mosurrahmani said about this art book: the type of printing, paper, binding, and the existence of an artwork that exists in the process of publishing this type of works, distinguishes these collections from ordinary books in the market. Of course, these books have their own audience, which are collectors, big collectors or museums, which are published by big publishers in the world.

Emphasizing that the professor had the right to publish this book, this publisher said: Unfortunately, the publication of this work coincided with the professor’s illness, so there was no opportunity to unveil this book. Due to the efforts of Mr. Fallah and Turkman, it was possible to make this unveiling on Friday.

Mehrdad Fallah said about Tabrizi’s master and his interest in publishing his works in the form of a book: Zindayad Tabrizi was very interested in publishing a book that would be a reference work in all his artistic activities during sixty years and he also chose the works himself. Thanks to Mr. Rahmani, this happened because they chose all the works themselves.

Regarding the reason why the book was unveiled on July 17 of this year, the representative of the Tabrizi family added: Considering that Zinda Yad established this gallery in 1352 under the name of Gallery 66, for this reason, it was decided to unveil the book on this date, July this year. to be The first exhibition they held was a display of the collection of works they had by artists of that period such as Pilaram, Arabshahi, etc. In other words, they unveiled their personal collection here, and after that and in successive years, other great artists of this field had exhibitions in this gallery.

Fallah noted: The collection of this book was done with special care by this late artist. In this book, all the different periods of Mr. Tabrizi, from the period of pottery and ceramics to the time he was in the Department of Fine Arts, and later when he worked on calligraphy, to the period of modern abstracts and miniatures, etc., have been collected.

The director of Sohrab Gallery said about the background of his collaboration with Zindayad Tabrizi: This collaboration has a background. Mr. Tabrizi’s two previous exhibitions were also held at Sohrab Gallery. In 1995, when the master was still alive, an exhibition was held, which was an overview of the master’s various artistic courses. During the last two years, when this book was on its way, we were always thinking of holding an exhibition of different periods and a complete collection of the master’s collected works at the same time, which we hope something will happen to the master.

He also mentioned about the curator of Ostad Tabrizi’s exhibition: what is observed in the curator of Ostad’s exhibition is the different periods of works and arrangement based on the schedule, which is my personal collection and part of it is collected from the family. In fact, the works are mostly for display so that the younger ones can see and get to know the master’s works from the old to the newer ones.

This art book will be unveiled on Friday, July 17, 1401 at Sohrab Gallery.
