The unveiling of three new Cloud Gaming Chromebooks by Google

The new gaming Chromebooks based on the Google operating system are made by Acer, Asus and Lenovo, and all come with decent hardware and displays with high frame rates. The new Acer Chromebook 516 GE will be available at a price of $649 and is powered by a 12th generation Intel Core i5-1240P processor and 8GB of RAM. The graphics processor of this Chromebook is Intel Iris Xe graphics.

Acer’s new Chromebook comes with 256GB SSD, 1600×2560 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Other features include an RGB keyboard, Wi-Fi 6E connection, Ethernet, three USB ports, and up to 9 hours of battery life. Meanwhile, Asus has launched Chromebook Vibe CX55 Flip with 11th generation Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor and support for 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, Intel UHD Graphics 630 and 256GB SSD.

15.6-inch screen, 1920×1080 resolution and 144 Hz refresh rate are among the image capabilities of this product. The price of this Chromebook starts at 699 and will be supplied with Harmon Kardon speakers. Another gaming Chromebook is the Lenovo Ideapad, which starts at $599 and comes in several different hardware configurations.

The base model comes with an Intel Core i3-1215U CPU, eight GB of RAM and a 128GB eMMC SSD. 16-inch IPS screen with 1600 x 2560 resolution and 100% wide sRGB color coverage is one of the main features of this model.

Lenovo promises an 11-hour battery life for this Chromebook, and this new computer also has wireless connections, microSD and dual 2-watt speakers. All three Chromebooks are compatible with a variety of cloud games from Nvidia, Microsoft and Amazon services and are able to run gaming titles such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Crysis 3 remaster. The supply of these Chromebooks will begin at the end of October.
