The US military is accelerating military purchases and replenishing its arsenals

According to IRNA from Tass news agency, Bush added in a gathering of reporters: Since the beginning of the special military operation (SVO) of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, the United States has sent about 17.9 billion dollars in military aid to Kiev.

Also, since the second half of October alone, the US has signed contracts worth about one billion dollars, mainly for the supply of ammunition and missiles. According to the assistant secretary, this contract is 15% more than the Pentagon’s internal costs.

Bush went on to say that the military received the first tranche of funding on May 3 to complete the armaments, and funds were sent every few weeks thereafter.

Funds range from a few hundred million to almost a billion dollars, he said.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the request of the leaders of the Donbas republics for help, and then on September 30, 2022 (October 8, 1401), he signed the annexation document of four Ukrainian regions, including Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhia. This agreement was made after the referendum on September 27 in these areas.

In response to Russia’s decision, the West gradually began to impose numerous and extensive sanctions against this country. In addition, Western countries are beginning to supply arms and military equipment to Kiev, estimated to be worth tens of billions of dollars.

Putin announced on March 16, Western sanctions policy against Moscow has all the signs of aggression.

He pointed out that the policy of containing Russia is a long-term strategy for the West.
