According to Tejarat News, the Vice Chairman of the Parliament’s Industries and Mines Commission gave new explanations about the used car import bill.

Karimi said: The bill for the import of used cars is on the floor of the parliament and the government must provide the foreign exchange resources needed for used cars.

He added: If individuals or private companies want to import cars, it will be possible to use billions of dollars deposited outside the central bank system.

Does the import of used cars break the factory price?

Lotfa Siahkali, a representative and member of the Parliament’s Industries and Mines Commission, said in a conversation with Tejarat News: Importing used and second-hand cars is a good thing. Because there is currently a mismatch between supply and demand in the country’s car market. The import of this type of cars can help regulate the market and balance the price of cars in the market. Of course, it should also be noted that foreign cars are of better quality than domestic cars, and this factor increases people’s satisfaction.

He added: In addition to regulating the market, the implementation of the plan to import used cars will lead domestic car manufacturers to reduce prices and increase the quality of their products. In addition to that, another advantage of importing cars is that it reduces inflammation in other markets and reduces liquidity in the country.

This member of parliament explained: The Parliament and Industries Commission were seriously following the plan to import used cars before. But in the budget law, it was opposed by the recognition council. Even now, which has returned to the parliament with a two-urgent plan, it is being implemented seriously.
