The variety in the design and texture of the carpet shows the cultural beauty of Iranian peoples

According to Aria’s Heritage reporter, while visiting different parts of the carpet museum, Hosseinzadeh listed the reasons for the importance and place of the carpet in Iranian culture and said: Just as the carpet is made of threads, it has an identity role in the fabric of our culture.

He added: Iranians attached great importance to beauty and aesthetics and beautifying the living environment, this importance was conceptual.

The managing director of the specialized parent company for the development of Iran tourism and world tourism recalled: Iranians have been creative people since the past and they liked to display their art in different ways. Therefore, the carpet industry, which was a mixture of art and creativity, became very popular among Iranians.

Hosseinzadeh said about the importance of carpets in the history of Iran: The history of Iranian anthropology owes a great debt to the carpet industry. As you know, Iran is made up of different ethnicities and nationalities, each of which has its own culture and history. One of the places where you can find the differences and beauties of these cultures is in the type of design and texture and even the method of carpet weaving.

He added: the external design of the living environment for Iranians has been mixed with architecture. One of the components of Iranian architecture has been Islamic carpets, and Iranians attached great importance to this issue. Perhaps this is the reason why the issue of Iranian carpets and handwovens is still considered as a special issue in the world.
