The victims of the acid attack spoke about their lives on TV / Wishing to see the world – Mehr News Agency | Iran and world’s news

According to the Mehr news agency, quoting the media consultant of the program, “Moon is falling”, a special program of Channel 2 for the days of Muharram and Safar, directed and designed by Maryam Navabi Nejad, aired on Tuesday night, October 4, hosted Fatemeh Ghasemi and Narges Al-Halafi, two victims of acid attack. They told their story.

Fatemeh Ghasemi, one of the guests of the horrible story program, said the day her face was severely burned with acid: “I had just got engaged and I was having a good time. My brother’s wife asked me to go to their house to take care of her child. I was going to sleep there at night and tomorrow morning my brother and his wife would go out to work. I woke up in the morning trying to suffocate someone with a scarf covering his face. I recognized him through his eyes, and as I was letting go of my hand, he poured the pitcher of acid he had placed near my hand on my face.

“For the first year, I did not even look in the mirror, but after a while I decided to accept myself, and now I am working on art and creating motivational content,” Fatemeh said.

Narges was another guest on the show, whose ex-wife burned her face with acid after she became frustrated with her return to life. He lost his sight after the incident and spoke of the painful adventures and difficult surgeries that followed.

Narges also said about her wish: “Every day I say oh my God I can see the beauties of your world once again and I still hope that one day I can see the world again.”
