Remove the Wall app from Google Play
In the email sent by Google, Article 16.5 of the Developer Agreement is mentioned, which generally refers to the sanctions imposed by the United States. The text of the said email is as follows:
Products available on Google Play may be subject to export control and sanctions laws and regulations of the United States and other jurisdictions. You agree to comply with all export control and sanctions laws and regulations that apply to your distribution or use of the Products, including (a) export administration regulations enforced by the United States Department of Commerce, (b) trade and economic sanctions; Comply with the US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control. (c) International arms trade regulations maintained by the United States Department of State. These terms and conditions contain restrictions on purposes, users and end use.
After sending this email and removing their software from the Play Store, the managers of the website and application of the wall pointed out the consequences of this action of Google and announced:
Removing the official application of Dewar from Google Play can cause the spread of malware by abusing the title and brand of Dewar in the official Google store and violating the rights of users.
Dewar company has announced that it will do its best to restore this application and will use all legal capacities to re-enter the Play Store. During the last few years, not only the wall but also many applications have been banned by Google and removed from Google Play. What do you think about this incident?
