The winners of the third contest “Era of Tazeeh” were announced

According to Fars news agency, the closing ceremony of the third “Evening of Ta’zieh” competition was held last night on the 29th of Bahman in the cinema hall of the Tehran Theater campus with the presence of Ta’zieh teachers.
At the beginning of this ceremony, Hossein Khatami, the director of Al Taha Assembly, said in a speech: This competition is held with the aim of promoting Ta’ziyeh, because unfortunately, this art is threatened by harm, which needs to be identified by experts and professors and introduced to the youth.
He added: We also wanted to spread the love of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH) in the society through the language of Ta’ziyyah. Ta’ziyeh is a popular art among people, that’s why Ta’ziyeh is the best artistic tool for spreading Islamic culture.
Khatami emphasized: Innovation is needed for the development of any art, but innovation must be accompanied by research. This research will be obtained when we have reached the necessary knowledge in the field of Ta’ziyya. This competition tries to fulfill such a wish.
In the continuation of the ceremony, Amin Ashrafi, the head of the Tehran Theater Campus, also said: I consider myself the servant of all ta’zih scholars because the people of this art spent their life and energy to spread the culture of Ahl al-Bayt. In this regard, we will not hesitate to receive any help from Tehran Theater Campus.
He continued: “The support of Ta’ziyeh is not only limited to this religious art, but I believe that if Ta’ziyeh flourishes, we will see its effects in all arts because this national and religious art is somehow present in various arts.”
Ashrafi emphasized: I am very grateful to Al-Taha Ta’ziyya Assembly for launching such a competition. We are trying to make ta’ziyya scientific and academic and for the first time the field of ta’ziyya will be taught scientifically.
In another part of the ceremony, Taha Esfandiari and Kasri Esfandiari, two children reciters, were honored, then Mohammad Rezaei performed a song describing Eid Mubaat.
