The World Bank approved the payment of a loan of 900 million dollars

According to Iran Economist’s Thursday morning report from Anatolia news agency, this news was published after World Bank CEO Axel Van Trotsenburg met with Argentina’s Economy Minister Sergio Massa in Washington to discuss the macroeconomic situation of this South American country.
In this meeting, Massa thanked the World Bank and Van Trotsenburg for the support and measures taken to stabilize the macroeconomics and strengthen Argentina’s reserves.
Argentina’s economy minister said on Twitter that he and Van Trotsenburg discussed the macroeconomic program and agreed to work to expand funding for the country’s inclusive development in water and sanitation projects, social protection, health, transportation and Continue training.

The World Bank statement said that over the years, the cooperation between the World Bank and Argentina has been strengthened, and the World Bank has approved new loans worth $3.73 billion, focusing on investment and growth programs, including supporting the needy.
The Argentine government has announced that it will pay about 500 million dollars of projects financed by the World Bank in the next 4 months. According to the statement, these projects will include support for sewage operations in Matanza-Riachulo, the global health system, capacity building for employment and social support measures for poor children under the so-called AUH program.
