The world registration of cultural heritage in UNESCO is a way to deal with Iranophobia/ the development of the country’s economy with tourism boom
According to Arya Heritage report, Mohsen Fathi, the representative of the people of Sanandaj, Diwandre and Kamiyaran in the Islamic Council, referring to the registration of the cultural heritage of our country in UNESCO, said: When a work is included in the UNESCO World Register, it is introduced to the world more than before. Referring to the efforts of the officials of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts in order to register the tangible and intangible elements of Iran in UNESCO, he added: the boom in tourism that will come after these measures can provide a suitable capacity for the economic development of the country.
Stating that Iran has many capacities for global registration of historical, natural and intangible elements, this member of parliament continued: the Ministry of Cultural Heritage needs to develop a strategic plan and a codified vision to use these capacities.
Fathi considered confronting Iran-phobia caused by negative propaganda against our country as one of the fruits of the world registrations of Iran’s heritage in UNESCO and stated: World registrations are a record of the history and past of the Iranian people and will be considered as a turning point in the nation’s history.
He also emphasized on keeping alive the ancient heritage of the Iranian nation and said: it is necessary to introduce the people of the world to Iranian customs and traditions from the past to the present day and in this way bring about the development of the tourism industry, because the world records for The country can create wealth.
