The World Tourism Organization organizes a training course on gender equality



According to Arya Heritage, the course, which is available through the atingi.org portal, is part of the pioneering “Center Stage” project that puts women’s empowerment at the center of tourism development. This course, whose main target is national tourism offices, tourism businesses, tourism students and civil society organizations, tries to emphasize the importance of gender equality, why it is important to empower women, and the measures that can be taken to advance efforts in the direction of diversification and inclusion (of women) in this sector. be focused

The Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization said: “Education is a key issue for revising the future of tourism, and although a large number of women are working in the field of tourism, we are still far from equality.” We urge all tourism companies and organizations to take advantage of this free course to train their staff and help us ensure that tourism continues to be at the forefront of efforts to achieve gender equality.
