The worldwide distribution of “Night, Interior, Wall” reached the German company
Mostafar’s “Match Factory” company in Germany acquired the worldwide distribution rights of the new film “Shab, Interior, Wall” by Vahid Jalilund.
Charso Press: The film “Night, Interior, Wall” written and directed by Vahid Jalivand, with Navid Mohammadzadeh and Amir Aghaei as the main actors, represents Iranian cinema this year in the main competition section of the 79th Venice Film Festival.
The film follows the story of a blind man whose doorman stops his suicide attempt and informs him that a fugitive woman is hiding in the building. The blind man’s goal is to help this woman.
“Night, Interior, Wall” produced by Ali Jaliloland, is the third film directed by Vahid Jalilound at the Venice Film Festival and his first experience in the main competitive section of this important film event. His first film entitled “Wednesday, 19th of May” was screened in 2015 at Horizons, and his next film “Without Date, Without Signature” was also in this section, which won the award for best director and best actor (Mohammedzadeh). and was chosen as the representative of Iranian cinema at the Oscars.
