The Zionist regime signs an agreement with Egypt to export gas to Europe


According to Fars News Agency’s International Economics Group, quoting AlgeriaThe Israeli Ministry of Energy has announced that the regime will sign an agreement with Egypt and the European Union on Wednesday on the export of natural gas to the European Union.

Israeli Minister of Energy Karen Harar said that a memorandum of understanding was signed with Cairo and European representatives authorizing the export of Israeli natural gas to the European Union via Egypt.

He added that the memorandum of understanding is a commitment to share gas with Europe and to help diversify its energy resources.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, who is based in occupied Palestine, announced Wednesday that an agreement on gas exports to Europe will be signed today between Egypt, the European Union and Israel.

European countries have made great efforts to supply energy to Russia since the start of the war in Ukraine, and Israel, despite seeking to send some of its gas production to the European market, faces technical challenges such as a lack of gas transmission infrastructure and a dilemma. There is a dispute over gas fields with Lebanon.

The Israeli Minister of Energy also said that the gas export agreement with the European Union will last for three years and can be automatically extended for two years.
