There is a capacity to increase the volume of economic relations between Iran and Oman by one billion dollars

The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, on the sidelines of his visit to Oman, told reporters: “With the existing capacities, we can increase the volume of the current $ 1 billion economic relations between the two countries and reach higher figures next year.”
According to Shata, Seyyed Reza Fatemi Amin stated this, adding: Oman is one of the neighbors that is of special interest to our country.
Referring to our country’s extensive relations with Oman, he continued: “The main relations have been in the cultural and political fields, but in the trade and economic fields, our relations with Oman should be expanded and improved.”
The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade reminded that the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Oman has taken good measures in this field, and specified: “In continuation of these measures, we have traveled to Oman, and good meetings and meetings were held with Omani officials.”
Regarding his meetings, Fatemi Amin added: “We have had meetings with the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, the Minister of Health, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and also the Deputy Prime Minister of Oman for Cabinet Affairs, and we will have meetings with the Governor of the Central Bank.” .
He said that in these meetings, the fields of mutual cooperation have been examined, adding that there are fields of joint cooperation in various fields such as the development of shipping lines, the relationship between the ports of the two countries and mutual production investments.
Minister Samat, noting that a group consisting of 10 reputable Iranian companies accompanied the expedition team on this trip, said: “There is investment capacity in Oman in the fields of medicine, food industry and home appliances, which has also been welcomed by the Omani side.” Is.
Fatemi Amin, stating that preferential trade was also discussed in these meetings, said: “With the existing capacities, we can increase the current level of economic relations between the two countries and reach higher figures next year.”
