According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Sputnik news agency, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced in a speech today: The date, place and variables of the quadrilateral meeting of foreign ministers of Russia, Iran, Syria and Turkey are being agreed upon.

The Russian Foreign Minister continued in this regard: There should be no preconditions for the meeting of the foreign ministers of Russia, Iran, Syria and Turkey.

“Sergei Lavrov” had announced on April 18 that the meeting of foreign ministers of Iran, Russia, Syria and Turkey is being prepared and the agreement on the date of its holding is in progress.

A quadrilateral meeting of the deputy foreign ministers of 4 countries was held on the 15th of April at the headquarters of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Moscow.

The main focus of these quadrilateral meetings was to examine the process of normalizing relations between Turkey and Syria.

On the other hand, “Mikhail Bogdanov” said last week: the date set for the meeting will be agreed upon by 4 countries, and the representatives of the mentioned countries have each presented their plans.

Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced in his speech: The meeting of the foreign ministers of Iran, Syria, Russia and Turkey is planned for early May in Moscow.
