These Samsung phones do not get Android 14 and One UI 6.0! + List

It doesn’t matter if you own a cheap phone or a flagship phone; Because in any case, the manufacturer’s support for your device ends at a certain time. Therefore, users of some Samsung phones and tablets should not wait to receive Android 14 and the user interface based on it, i.e. One UI 6.0. But what are these devices?
Until a few years ago, Samsung provided software support for its products for a maximum of 2-3 years, but after some time, it decided to increase this support to 4 major versions of Android. In fact, since the Galaxy S21 series (including the Galaxy S21 FE), all Galaxy S series phones will receive up to four versions of Android. Of course, this policy is also true for Galaxy A33 to A73, as well as their new generation, A34 and A54.
Samsung phones that will not receive Android 14
As you might guess, phones older than Samsung’s 4-version policy will no longer be updated. In fact, Android 13 and One UI 5.0 will be their last major update.
The Samsung phones and tablets you see below will not receive Android 14, however, security patches will be released for them for a while:
- Galaxy S10 Lite
- Galaxy S20 FE
- Galaxy S20 / Galaxy S20 Plus / Galaxy S20 Ultra
- Galaxy Note 10 Lite
- Galaxy Note 20 / Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
- Galaxy Z Flip
- Galaxy Z Fold 2
- Galaxy A22 and A32
- Galaxy A51 and A71
- Galaxy Tab A8
- Galaxy Tab A7 Lite
- Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2020
- Galaxy Tab S7 / Galaxy Tab S7 Plus
If your device is not on the list above, but is running an older version of Android 13, then Android 14 will not be available for it.
Currently, Samsung has not announced when it will release Android 14 and the One UI 6.0 user interface, although Google itself has not yet released the stable version of this mobile operating system. Samsung is expected to start rolling out this update for some of its products before the end of this year.
It is likely that the Galaxy S23 series will be the first Samsung phones to receive Android 14 and One UI 6.0. It’s possible that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 will arrive with these versions by default, though there’s no guarantee of that.
