Today, the International Court of Justice announces the verdict of 2 billion dollars of Iranian assets

According to the report of the correspondent of International Economy of Fars News Agency, quoted by France 24, the International Court of Justice will announce its final decision regarding 2 billion dollars of our country’s assets today.

This volume of Iranian assets has been blocked by the United States on the pretext of Iran’s connection with terrorist activities.

In 2016, Iran took the issue of the freezing of this asset by the United States to this court, which is located in The Hague, Netherlands, and filed its complaint.

This court was established after the Second World War with the aim of dealing with disputes between members of the United Nations.

The court verdict will be officially announced at 15:00 GMT.

The rulings of this court are binding and there is no possibility of objecting to them, but at the same time, the International Court of Justice does not have the possibility to legally apply its decisions.
