Bozorzadeh also said about the output of the country’s dams: the output of the country’s surface this year is equal to 4.56 billion cubic meters, which was 3.5 billion cubic meters in the same period last year, and indicates a 22% increase in the water output of the dams. .

Referring to the current volume of reservoirs in the country’s dams, he noted: the current stock of the country’s dams is 19.62 billion cubic meters, which was 18.02 billion cubic meters in the same period last year, which shows a 9% increase compared to last year. We are in a better situation; Therefore, the percentage of fullness of the tanks is 40% at the moment.

The spokesperson of the water industry continued: If we consider all the dams of Lake Urmia as one dam, the reservoir of these dams is about 300 million cubic meters, the percentage of which is filled is 24%, and this amount shows minus 11% compared to the previous year. Therefore, Lake Urmia and its dams are still not in a good condition.

Referring to the condition of the dams in Zayandeh Rood region, he added: We are witnessing a better situation in Zayandeh Rood than last year. So that 347 million cubic meters is the reservoir of this dam and we see a 134% improvement, which can be good news for the compatriots in Isfahan province.

The spokesperson of the country’s water industry, Bozorzadeh, stated: Due to the amount of loading on surface and underground resources, which is twice the global standards, there is no water for allocation, so the 13th government is following the idea of water reallocation.

He added: In this regard, based on the water road map, we should redistribute the country’s water basket, including surface water sources, underground water sources, and unconventional waters such as sewage and sea water among different consumers.

The spokesperson of the country’s water industry pointed out: drinking water and sanitation are the first priority to provide among the various water uses of the country, and in addition, we must also provide the water needed by the environment, industry, services and agriculture.

Regarding the guarantee of implementation of the water roadmap in the industrial sector, he said: The industrial sector is an important consumer of water. In this direction, the main work is legal institution building and the next step is its implementation.

He stated that the re-allocation notification has been given to nearly a thousand water-intensive industrial units in the whole country with a volume of 810 million cubic meters per year, and these industrial units include large water-intensive and profitable industrial units, whose cost of water supply in their industrial production portfolio is very small. Is.

By stating that the drinking, food and pharmaceutical industries do not include unconventional water re-allocation, Bozorgzadeh said: these industries use healthy urban water.

He added: Some Shariah, customary, and sanitary considerations have caused us to limit the use of wastewater in some sectors, and we also considered economic considerations in this sector. For this reason, industries such as textile and clothing are separated from other industries and we made exceptions for these cases. Also, small and medium industries have been supported in this plan.

The spokesperson of the country’s water industry said: This law is included in the 7th development plan, and the action, which was only in words for the past 50 years, has now reached the operational stage.
