Today, the price of beams became cheaper again on January 12 / today?

According to Trade News, although the price of the dollar rose slightly in the last hours of today, but this increase did not cause the price of rebar and beams to rise in the market. In the past year, with the increase in the price of construction materials, the builders also withdrew from building the house.
Statistics show that from the summer of this year to the summer of last year, at the same time with the promise of a leap in housing, construction in the whole country has decreased by 32%. In Tehran, this reduction in construction has reached 10%. (Statistics of Hamshahri newspaper)
What is the price of rebar?
The price of rebar today, January 12, decreased by about 200 tomans compared to the previous two days. Today, rebar has been sold at a price of 14,500 Tomans. Also, the beam reached the price of 14 thousand and 700 tomans.
“The iron market is stagnant due to declining construction,” said the head of the Iron Traders’ Union, referring to his prediction of the state of the iron market. This lack of demand has made rebar and beams cheaper. The downward trend in rebar and beam prices is expected to continue until the end of the year.
Hamidreza Rastegar explained to Tejarat News: In addition to the lack of demand in the domestic market, we are facing a surplus of iron due to problems related to exports in the domestic market. This increase in supply and the problems caused by inflation have caused manufacturers to retreat in the winter.
“Recent government tax policies have significantly reduced iron ore sales,” he said. Now, due to the decrease in demand, the price of rebar and beams has decreased by 10% compared to the previous month.
Migration of ironmongers from the market
Rastegar said: “In this market situation, the amount of profit that licensed iron sellers receive from the people is insignificant.” Unfortunately, the IRS sets figures for these activists at the time of tax collection, which ultimately causes them to move out of the class.
“Making some decisions will eventually lead to stray capital inflows, which will eventually lead to price increases,” he said.
Earlier, Mohammad Sadegh Chitsaz, a member of the board of directors of the Iron Traders Union, said: “The downward trend in the price of beams and rebars continues.” The price of these two metals is expected to be about 100 to 200 tomans cheaper by tomorrow.
