Today, Sunday, August 30, Tehran Stock Exchange registered a drop of 1,401 units and 8,920 units for the total index. At the end of today’s trading, the figure of 1,429,000 units was fixed for the total index. The equal weight index also dropped by 888 units to the range of 396 thousand units and lost its hope of climbing to the channel of 400 thousand units.

There has been no response from the United States government or the European Union regarding Iran’s JCPOA proposals. On the other hand, the activists of the stock exchange and other financial markets are waiting for the answer from the western parties. But the market situation depends on the negotiations, that is, the shareholders and other market participants are waiting for the result to determine their trading strategy.

Despite this, it is expected that if the agreement is revived or if the current ambiguous conditions continue, the market situation will be in its current form. But if an opening is realized in the JCPOA, it should be expected that rial and banking stocks will grow well.

In general, it can be said that the forecast of the stock market in the coming days depends on factors such as the fluctuations of the dollar rate and the decisive response of the United States to the Iran JCPOA proposals. The main point here is that if something doesn’t happen, the market probably won’t change its current path.

Hossein Meridsadat, a capital market expert, said in a conversation with Tejarat News: The value of stock exchange transactions is still low and the capital market does not react. There is no news in the market and somehow some shareholders are bored.

He continued: Half of tomorrow’s transactions are bearish, but due to the orders and requests for cars, there are probably buyers in the negatives.
