Tourism in Fars province needs smart investment and knowledge-based

According to Aria Heritage, quoting the public relations of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Fars Province, Hadi Shahdoost Shirazi stated during a visit to the Shiraz Innovation Factory on November 11, 2014: “Fars and Iran provinces will become the main destinations of many tourists and we will have a higher position in the national, regional and international tourism arenas.”
The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Fars Province Babian said that the view of suppliers and applicants of tourism services should be changed in order to further economic development in the field of tourism and handicrafts, said: “The development of tourism in the province should create a transformation and make the provision of services smarter.”
Emphasizing the need for smart investment and knowledge-based leaps in the field of tourism, Shahdoust Shirazi added: “We have an agenda.”
Alireza Samimi, Managing Director of Shiraz Innovation Factory, said during the visit: “Like the investment club, it has created a student club, a business school and an open innovation under its management.”
He added: “In order to support startups in Shiraz Innovation Factory, we created an opportunity for entrepreneurs to benefit from the opportunity of synergy, learning and networking, and by attending this space, they will have a better chance to grow and attract the capital they need.” New ideas and new businesses need a suitable and interactive workspace, the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem and startups will not be achieved unless all the links of the IT ecosystem chain are put together. “Shiraz Innovation Factory makes it possible for young people and idea owners to stand with investors, consultants and elites and make the future of the province brighter.”
At the end of the visit, the two sides discussed the explanation of joint cooperation capacities and efforts to use the existing capacity and infrastructure in Shiraz Innovation Factory in the field of development and promotion of results in the mission areas of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts.
