Tourism is still waiting for “hope”

The Corona intelligent quarantine management and monitoring system, called “Hope”, is supposed to help the tourism sector and prevent it from shutting down during the outbreak of emerging strains of the virus, but it has not yet been announced.

According to IRNA’s cultural correspondent, Corona has been a guest of the world and Iran for about two years, and every day the virus appears in a new form. Experts have concluded that the solution to the spread of this disease is not universal quarantine. Many countries that have managed to tackle the disease in a way that minimizes damage to businesses have benefited from smart quarantine.

Not everyone is quarantined in this way, but only people who have coronary heart disease or have not been vaccinated have restrictions. In Iran, a few months ago, officials announced the beginning of smart quarantine, in the context of a system called Omid.

According to the Corona Smart Management Plan, the movement of people who have not been vaccinated or who have Covid 19 will be stopped and quarantined. People who have not been vaccinated will be denied access to public services and employees who have not been vaccinated will be barred from the workplace.

Under this scheme, people who have not received the Corona vaccine for any reason will not be allowed to travel unless they have a negative 72-hour PCR test.

Mohsen Farhadi, technical deputy of the Center for Environmental and Occupational Health of the Ministry of Health, announced the start of the smart quarantine project from December 6, 2014 and said: “According to this project, traffic will be intelligently controlled.”

According to the information base of the Ministry of Interior, the Security, Social and Disciplinary Committee of the National Corona Disease Management Headquarters also explained the details of the intelligent corona disease management plan in the bed of hope in its announcement No. 2.

The announcement announced the start of the project and the purpose of its implementation was the intelligent management, control and monitoring of coronary heart disease through online exchange of information in the Omid system in order to create balance in the daily lives of citizens and protect their health.

The project will include phases of executive agencies, intercity transportation, units and union activities, suburban transportation and urban vehicle traffic.

But despite this, we still do not see the launch of this system in the country’s tourism space.

The Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism did not respond to IRNA’s ongoing follow-up on whether or not to connect to the Omid system. They do not have a connection to this system.

Rafiei, stating that it was announced many times in Corona couriers that travel agencies are informed of the names of Corona patients so that tickets are not issued to them, said: “So far, we have not had any access to this system.” We are still not in the time of connecting to the Omid system.

“When a ticket is issued to a person, the passenger has the right to board the plane, while if a person is ill, a ticket must be issued to him from the beginning,” he said, referring to preventing passengers from entering the plane at the airport due to coronary heart disease. Do not. But we do not yet have access to a system to inform people with coronary heart disease.

Jamshid Hamzehzadeh, President of the Iranian Hoteliers Association, in an interview with IRNA Cultural Reporter, while announcing that 100% of the hotel staff have been vaccinated with corona vaccine, said: “Hotels follow all health procedures, but no information about infected travelers.” They do not have a corona.

He considered the access of hotel officials to this information necessary and said: “Certainly, if we connect to this system, we will prevent the admission of coronary patients.”

Experience has shown that after coronation peaks in European countries, the incidence of coronation in Iran also increases significantly; Accordingly, launching the system as soon as possible and making it operational will be a great help to the active tourism sector. Until the sixth peak of the corona occurs in Iran, tourism will not be completely closed again and only those who are affected; Be prohibited from traveling.
