“Development of ecotourism resorts can create new job opportunities in rural areas and lead to economic growth and improved livelihoods,” said the project manager of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, which emphasizes the implementation of tourism and ecotourism projects in rural areas. “That area will help.”
“The General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Kurdistan has been one of the most effective agencies in the province in supporting the development of rural employment, which has been able to create a good source of income for the villagers by developing handicrafts and ecotourism,” he said.
“We hope that Kurdistan province, with the cooperation of relevant institutions, will be able to have a successful year in the field of rural employment,” Asadi said.

Yaghoub Guilian, stating that the development of tourism in the province depends on supporting private sector investors, said: “One of the important economic priorities of the province is the completion of semi-finished investment projects in the field of tourism and in this regard requires operating banks to pay special attention to this field. ».
He also referred to the growing trend of investments in the field of ecotourism in the province, adding: “Currently, there are 32 ecotourism resorts in the province, and each ecotourism unit, while creating employment, is a good source of sustainable income for families and even villagers.” Created.”
“There is a lot of potential in the province’s tourism sector, and in order to make it a reality, all private sector officials and investors need to interact and work together,” Guilian said.
