Saeed Mohammadpour, Legal Vice President of Tractor Club, in an interview with Tasnim News Agency’s sports reporter about the latest status of Tractor Club’s complaint against Kaveh Rezaei in the status committee and also the player’s joining Sepahan Club, said: I would like to state one thing in general, which has nothing to do with the case. Kaveh Rezai is not satisfied. The filing of the case does not necessarily mean that the plaintiff’s desired verdict will be issued. Although we believe that our evidence leads to the conviction of Kaveh Rezaei, and according to the regulations of the Football Federation, we can both receive compensation and lead to the exclusion of Kaveh Rezaei, but the proceedings must go through and lead to a verdict. After that, Kaveh Rezaei’s suspension will start and the other party will be obliged to pay compensation to Tractor Club. So, we have prepared the preparations for the time being and the proceedings are underway.
“Did Sepahan club ask you to sign a contract with Kaveh Rezaei?”, the Legal Vice President of Tractor Club said in response to this question: As far as I know, Mr. Nasirzadeh had warned Sepahan club that this contract might have consequences. As you know, if this complaint leads to a verdict against Kaveh Rezaei, it will have a series of consequences for Sepahan. We mentioned this issue to Sepahan, but Sepahan managers recognize the decision-making and expediency of that club, and we only warned.
Regarding the stage of the Tractor Club’s complaint against Kaveh Rezaei in the status committee, Mohammadpour clarified: We are supposed to present a new case in the open status committee and a series of new documents. For this reason, the case we presented two months ago may be withdrawn and a new case with stronger documentation may be presented.
In response to the fact that Tractor Club apparently did not pay the trial fee of this case at all, he said: We requested the return of the case and we want to file a new lawsuit. Even if we don’t pay the court fee and the case is returned, the validity of the case remains and it’s not like we can’t sue again.
The Legal Deputy of Tractor Club clarified that Kaveh Rezaei has also filed a complaint against Tractor Club, Esteghlal and the Football Federation to the Supreme Court of Sports (CAS): Kaveh Rezaei’s request for a temporary order from CAS has been rejected. Yesterday, the deadline for paying the legal fees of this player has expired, and due to the non-transfer of the money, he has requested to transfer the money, and he has been given another two weeks to pay the legal fees.
