Trade between Iran and Belarus will increase 20 times

According to Fars news agency, Omid Qalibaf, the spokesman of the Ministry of Security, announced in a tweet on the cyberspace that trade between Iran and Belarus will increase in the future.

Trade between Iran and Belarus will increase 10 times in the short term and 20 times in the next step.

In continuation of the active diplomacy of the government, this time Minister Sammet outlined the horizon of economic relations with Belarus in the framework of the Joint Commission. The important point is the export of knowledge-based medical equipment to Belarus with a capacity of 5 million dollars per year.

According to Fars, the 15th meeting of the Joint Economic Commission of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Belarus will be held on August 6 and 7 this year in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade of our country and the Minister of Industry of Belarus.

In this meeting, the strengthening and expansion of mutual cooperation in the field of commercial and industrial cooperation, agriculture and fish breeding, investment, geology and water resources, health and pharmaceuticals, transportation and cooperation between chambers of commerce are on the agenda.

The 14th meeting of the Joint Economic Commission with Belarus was held in Tehran in February 2016.
