Traditional textile is the competitive advantage of Golestan handicrafts/ Setting up a hundred permanent handicraft markets in the country


According to the Aria Heritage report, according to the public relations of Golestan Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts General Directorate, Maryam Jalali, on the evening of Friday, July 24, 1401, at the summary meeting of the Cultural Commission of the Islamic Council, which was attended by Hojjatul Islamwal Muslimin Agha Tehrani, the head and other members of this commission, Golestan Governor Ali Mohammad Zanganeh, Gholamreza Montazeri, and Ramzan Ali Sangdwini. The representatives of the people of Gorgan and Aqqola cities in the Islamic Council, Rahman Farmani, the head of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Golestan province, Mohammad Karimi, the Director General of the Assembly Affairs, and Ahmad Tajari, the Director General of Investment, Infrastructure and Tourism Sample Areas of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, and a group of general managers. Executive bodies of the province were held in the meeting hall of Golestan governorate, he said: “We sacrificed some production opportunities for employment, and now we have a duty to strengthen national production and pay special attention to it.”
The Deputy Minister of Handicrafts and Traditional Arts of the country stated: “One of the important production capacities of the country is the way out of the economic problems of handicrafts and traditional arts, because it can make the family productive, and when the family is productive, it produces love and affection, ethics, law, health and makes wealth.”
Referring to the importance of traditional textiles in Golestan province, he emphasized: “Given the existence of Noghandari and silk production, as well as the activity of about 3,500 artists and artisans in the traditional textile sector of Golestan province, this area is the competitive advantage of the province in the field of handicrafts.”
Jalali stated: “Handicrafts in Golestan province have a unique capacity for production, and we observed some of these capacities during our visits to the province during these four days.”
He further stated: “If we want culture to develop, the home and family must become productive, and the women of the province have the capacity to become a productive family through handicrafts, but the infrastructure of this field is needed for those who are interested.” to provide activities in the field of handicrafts.
The deputy of handicrafts and traditional arts of the country said: “The family is the center of development and objectification of this issue will be available with regard to the field of handicrafts in Golestan province.”
He reminded: “The capacity of domestic production, especially in the field of handicrafts and traditional arts, is very high for women in Golestan province. “By converging and synergizing the executive bodies of the province and forming a handicraft production chain and supporting it, we can strengthen the province’s economy by developing the handicraft sector.”

Setting up a hundred permanent craft markets in the country
The Deputy of Handicrafts and Traditional Arts of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts announced plans to launch a hundred permanent handicraft markets in the country.
He stated: “Implementation of this plan will start from Tehran at the same time as the decade of Imamate and Province and will gradually be carried out in other provinces with the help of other executive bodies.”
Jalali pointed out: “One of the needs of Golestan province, with its unique capacities in the field of handicrafts, is the creation of permanent markets for the supply of handicraft products.”
He reminded: “In Golestan province, one permanent bazaar has already been put into operation, and six permanent bazaars are also under construction, which we will definitely allocate national resources to speed up the implementation process of these important projects for the field of handicrafts.”
Referring to the need to benefit more from the markets of Golestan’s neighboring countries for the supply of handicrafts, the Deputy of Handicrafts and Traditional Arts emphasized: “Inchebron’s border market in the province is an important issue in the field of selling handicraft products, and measures should be taken on its structure and content.” All this completes the value cycle of the province’s handicraft sector.”
Jalali further said: “The Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism is a fledgling ministry that has been established for three years, but the key to solving the country’s economic and cultural blockage is in the hands of this fledgling.”
He also pointed out the insignificant contribution of handicrafts in the country’s economy and emphasized: “We are trying to bring this contribution to the real position in the seventh development plan.”
The Deputy Minister of Handicrafts and Traditional Arts of the country stated: “In the 6th Development Plan, there is no proper policy and plan for this ministry, and considering that we are at the stage of the 7th Plan, a basic plan must be developed for this ministry.”
He pointed out: “The handicraft faction has not yet been formed in the Islamic Parliament, and even though it is a producer, it is considered as a subcategory of services.”
Members of the Cultural Commission of the Islamic Majlis, together with a number of deputy ministers related to the cultural field, traveled to this province on Wednesday evening, July 22, this year to investigate the cultural problems of Golestan.
Maryam Jalali, Deputy Minister of Handicrafts and Traditional Arts of the country, as the high representative of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, Mohammad Karimi, Director General of Parliamentary Affairs, Ahmed Tajari, Director General of Investment, Infrastructure and Sample Tourism Areas of this Ministry, accompanied the members of the Cultural Commission of the Islamic Council on this trip.
Attending the meetings of the working groups of culture and art, tourism and handicrafts, meeting with the presidents of universities, attending the ceremony honoring the cultural, literary and artistic leaders of the province, participating in the meeting of the general culture council of the province, visiting half-finished cultural, tourism and handicraft projects, visiting Tourist attractions and historical monuments of the province were part of the plans of this trip.
